The DETECT! Consortium
The DETECT! consortium aims to transform participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) into leaders of deep tech innovation and entrepreneurship by 2030. This will be achieved by creating a layered innovation ecosystem that operates within each university and its region, across the consortium, and throughout Europe via connections with EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).
The goal is to transform these HEIs into hubs for deep tech innovation, offering streamlined support services, training, and mentoring. This structure is designed to foster strong cooperation between academic units, industry partners, and third-sector organizations.

The EIT HEI Initiative
The EIT's HEI Initiative supports higher education institutions in building the capacity to teach innovation and entrepreneurship. The University of Vienna is part of the DETECT! Consortium, coordinated by the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. The aim is to establish an innovation ecosystem by connecting European universities and partners in deep tech and entrepreneurship.
